The MJN Technology Email Security Check ("the Tool") reads publicly available DNS records for the domain in the email address you enter, including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, NS and DNSSEC records, and presents a summary and score. The Tool does not access, scan, test or modify your systems, accounts or mail servers.
Results are provided for general information only. They reflect public DNS records at the moment of the check, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and can change at any time. The Tool is not a security assessment, audit, penetration test or professional advice, and it does not guarantee that your domain is or is not protected against spoofing, phishing or other threats, or that your email will be delivered.
Changes to DNS and email authentication settings, including DMARC policies, SPF records, DKIM keys and DNSSEC, can cause legitimate email to be rejected or delayed and can make a domain or website unreachable if made incorrectly. Any recommendation shown by the Tool is general in nature. You should not make changes based on the Tool's results without review by a qualified IT professional who understands your environment. You are solely responsible for any changes you or your providers make and for their consequences.
The Tool is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MJN Technology and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including lost email, lost business, lost profits, data loss or service interruption, arising from or related to your use of the Tool or reliance on its results, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Use the Tool only to check domains you own, manage or are authorized to evaluate. Do not use automated means to submit large numbers of checks, attempt to disrupt the Tool, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may limit or block use at our discretion.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Tool after changes means you accept the updated terms.
